Beginning Color Theory in Oil

This workshop will be on how to mix the color you want. I'll go over some ways to guide you through the process and some easy ways to narrow it down until you have the exact color you want. 

Materials You Need to Bring:

Oil Paint - Colors - White(Big Tube), Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Red, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna

Panels to paint on - Two 8x10's

Brushes - about 1 long handle 1/2 flats sometimes sized as No 6 

On palette knife - something around 1" long blade for mixing paint

OMS or Walnut Oil for cleaning brush, in sealable container

Rag/paper towels aid in cleaning brushes

Palette to mix your paint on paper/glass/plastic 8x10 to 11x14 in size.  

Simple scraper to scrape paint off your palette to aid in cleaning it.

Pencil and Notepad for taking lots of notes.
