This painting was a lot of fun. I painted a smaller version of this one and had to do a larger version and this is available at the Susan Tyler Gallery on Galveston Island, Texas.

Evening at East Beach

Evening at East Beach
Galveston Island, Texas
12 x 16
Oil on Canvas

There's something about the setting sun on Galveston that can do some interesting things. This spot is on the East end of Galveston Island, Texas where a large group of rocks shore up the seawall, to the right would be the channel and behind me the Gulf of Mexico and in front Galveston Bay.

During the show opening word quickly got around about this painting and has been unofficially titled "The girl with the wet legs". I like it.

Oil on Canvas
Floater Framed

This is one of over 20 paintings, an amazing show, now available at the Susan Tyler Gallery on Galveston Island, Texas. This scene is down in front of the seawall about 5 or so jetties away from the 61st street looking into the sun.
