Occasionally on good days the surf breaks farther out. This one is another evening view and the light caught the white water just right as the sun was going down behind the many buildings along the sea wall.

  6. Thanks Jane, Julie and Marie. I used to draw sometimes when I was young but only made it more serious in the last three to four years.

  7. Randall, love this wave series!- That's where my brain is all winter....thinking about getting back south in warm waters & swimming & jumping in the waves! (In winter I can hardly think to paint, because I'm thinking about all the warm beaches I should be at instead of cold CT!). It's tough being a FL gal in cold country!

  9. Randall, you certainly have a gift with your painting. I've always loved seascapes especially, and your paintings of the Galveston area reminds me so much of the waters off Monterey Bay. Gorgeous colors in your waves - those touches of green bring it all to life. Thank you for commenting on my blog.
