We will paint at the following locations: Galveston State Park, East Beach near jetty area, Bolivar Lighthouse and Fort Travis, and the Galveston Harbor at 20th Street. There will be views of Galveston Bay, marshland, people fishing, beach houses, surf, beach, awesome sky's, sailboats, a lighthouse, old fort, palm trees, people, clouds, a view of the Elissa with sails up hopefully( every time I've been here they've been up), tanker ships, shrimp boats, deep blue sea and lot's of color.

There will be a demo at each session, instructions, and coaching. Drawing skills will be tested. We will work on values, use of limited palette to learn color mixing. Learn some tips on lighting issues, blocking in, grey scale studies, sight sizing, and oodles about gear and other things related to plein air painting. Bolivar Lighthouse, with some fantastic views

The Ellissa always a pleasure to paint.

Fort Travis with some great palm trees and greenery to paint and the  parts of the  Fort.

View of Galveston Island State Park Gulf side. There is also the Bay side which we we probably paint at.

Shrimp boats in the harbor another location we will paint at. You never know what will be around.

Added Bonus: I have a surprise on the last session for those who can attend all 4 sessions. We will have lunch near the Harbor and those who can make all 4 sessions I'll pay for your lunch.
